Peninsular Spanish - Peninsular Spanish Translation
Peninsular Spanish is also known as European Spanish, Iberian Spanish, or Castilian Spanish (although the term "Castilian" really refers to the Spanish language regardless of where it is used). It is the version spoken in Spain as opposed to the Spanish of the Americas.
Peninsular Spanish differs from that spoken in Central and South America in several ways. The first is, in most of Spain, the pronunciation of the letter c before the letters e and i as well as the letter z as a th sound in English (for example, cinco). In addition, Peninsular Spanish uses the vosotros form for the second-person plural or the plural of tú.
These characteristics, among others, distinguish Peninsular Spanish from Latin American Spanish. Variations in vocabulary between the two can range from frustrating to embarrassing. For example, a computer in Spain is an ordenador, while in Latin America it is a computadora.
Using the correct form of Spanish is essential to the success of your translation project. Take advantage of our 25 years of experience in producing successful translations. We can help you determine which version is most appropriate to assure that your translation communicates with your target audience.

Castilian Spanish and European Spanish
As always, it is essential to identify your target audience in order to make your translation most effective. While the Spanish language is spoken all over the world, Castilian Spanish or European Spanish will be the appropriate language of choice for your translation if European speakers of Spanish are your target market. We can help you determine which version best suits your project.
Professional Castilian or European Spanish Translation
As native speakers of Castilian Spanish, our translators are familiar with the cultural and linguistic nuances and distinctions that can impact the effectiveness of a translation, especially given the several dialectal differences seen in Spanish speakers. Our translators are tested, proven, and experienced in their field of specialization in Spanish, and their skills are repeatedly tested and monitored to guarantee superior quality translations. And, importantly, our translators are always translating into their own native language.

TRANSLATE ↔ EDIT ↔ PROOFREAD ↔ REVIEW
is performed by native speakers of Spanish to guarantee a critically-overseen, accurate, and certified translation. The project manager will work closely with the translation team and will constantly be available to you by phone and by email. Our projects are all managed domestically so you have control over the product. We are part of your team.
Our emphasis is on the accuracy and timeliness of your translations along with a sincere commitment to client services, and our rates are competitive and reasonable. Three particular facets define our translations:
- Reliability -- correct grammar, terminology, culture, and syntax combine to produce an accurate translation.
- Legibility -- the document is clear, faithfully represents the original document, and sounds natural when read.
- Layout -- the arrangement and presentation of the information on the page complements the quality of the translation itself.
This conscientious attention to detail ultimately results in a publication-grade translation that is ready for your use upon delivery.
Quality control is a crucial element of our services. Because of this focus on quality, we will not commit to delivering a project by or on a certain date if we do feel we can only comply with that date by giving up quality. If we do, however, commit to a specific deadline, we will do everything possible to meet it.
